Data science is an inter-disciplinary field that uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from many structural and unstructured data. This course will lay down the foundation of 'Data Science' in the students. The course has been designed in such a way that even 'Non-Mathematics' students will find it easy .

About This Course

Founded by a MIT professor along with MIT, Andersen and McKinsey alumni, the platform is fundamentally transforming data science education, effectively making it possible for anyone to establish a strong foundation in Data Science without any prior programming or analytics background. DSA lowers the barrier to entry for students wishing to learn data science. Students with no prior STEM education can learn complex topics such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. Our proprietary ParentPlus system equips parents to monitor and explore their child’s learning in a collaborative fashion.

Why DSA? DSA recognizes the fact that a strong Data Science background will be a key component of all future high paying jobs. Parents and Students need to understand the priority of building a foundation in the field of Data Science. This needs to start as early as 8th standard and cultivated throughout the balance of school and early college years. We look at this as a journey and DSA will provide the education, tools, and technologies needed to establish this cornerstone. Our MIT based curriculum offers: Basic Introduction to Data, Analytics, and Data Science Real world Use Cases including streaming video-on-demand, insurance, healthcare, real estate, government, and social media to drive interactive learning Emphasizes six 'must know' machine learning concepts which include clustering, CART, random forest, logistic regression, and linear regression Presents four additional cutting-edge analytics techniques including deep learning, optimal decision trees, simulation, and optimization Introduces key data science tools including R, Python, and Julia A playbook/blueprint for each case so you can apply to real world scenarios Best of all - Includes a Lab in a Box

Requirements

Students should have basic familiarity with internet browsing and proficiency in english reading and writting.The prior knowledge of high school mathematics and statistics is a big plus .
